VIRTUAL EUROPEAN RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP
REGULATIONS
1. DEFINITION AND ORGANIZATION
1.1 In 2020 the Virtual Rally Federation will organise a series named 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship.
1.2 The 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship is executed using the sim-racing game Richard Burns Rally.
1.3 For the competition activities (rally platforms, results, etc.) 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship will be using the RBR-CZ Plugin.
1.4 The 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship rules are based on real rally championships rules and regulations.
1.5 The 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship is based on the real FIA European Rally Championship competition.
1.6 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the constant changes in the calendar of the real competition, the 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship will be using a slightly revised calendar compared to the real FIA European Rally Championship calendar, with the addition of Rally Poland, which was originally cancelled in the real competition.
2. EVENTS
2.1 All conditions of the events are tried to remake as close as possible to the real events.
2.2 All events include one leg.
2.3 The 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship consists in total of 8 events which will take place from July to December 2020.
3. ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS
3.1 The 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship is available for people from all countries.
3.2 Competitors must be registered on the site of the RBR-CZ plugin.
3.3 Competitors who haven’t selected a country to race for will not be allowed to race.
3.4 Competitors whose nicknames are not made up of their real names will not be allowed to take part in any rally. An example of nickname of a driver who will not be allowed to race is: "driver2323"; "fast driver"; "fast"; etc. An example of nickname of a driver who is eligible to compete is: "NAME Surname"; "SURNAME Name"; "Name Surname"; etc.
4. ELIGIBLE VEHILCLES
4.1 The 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship allows all cars from the RC2, RC3, RC4 and RC5 classes of the RBR-CZ plugin.
4.2 Cars are divided to 4 categories which are detailed in Article 6, Point 6.2.
5. SERIES REGISTRATION
5.1 For registration the 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship will be using the enroll system on the site of the RBR-CZ plugin. This means a competitor doesn't need to be registered for the championship itself.
5.2 Competitors who are registered for a rally but does not meet the requirements described in Article 3 will be kicked from the start list and will not be included in the official entry list of the following rally.
5.3 The deadline for a competitor to register for any rally is 24 hours before the start.
6. CLASSES AND CHAMPIONSHIPS
6.1 The following championships will take place in the 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship season:

2020 Virtual Junior European Rally Championship
6.2 The classes are as follows:
2020 Virtual European Rally Championship - all cars from all classes are allowed
2020 Virtual European Rally Championship 2 - only R4 & N4 cars are allowed
2020 Virtual European Rally Championship 3 - only RC3 class cars are allowed
2020 Virtual Junior European Rally Championship - only RC4 & RC5 class cars are allowed
7. CLASSIFICATION - SCORES FOR EACH RALLY
7.1 In each round, the competitors will score points, according to their result in the events' final classification
7.2 Points for rallies:
1st - 30 Points
2nd - 24 Points
3rd - 21 Points
4th - 19 Points
5th - 17 Points
6th - 15 Points
7th - 13 Points
8th - 11 Points
9th - 9 Points
10th - 7 Points
11th - 5 Points
12th - 4 Points
13th - 3 Points
14th - 2 Points
15th - 1 Point
8. CHAMPIONSHIP SCORING REGULATIONS
8.1 In the 2020 Virtual European Rally Championship, there is no minimum number of participants required for any given European Rally Championship scheduled event.
8.2 For the final standings, all the results will be considered.
8.3 For drawing up the final and/or provisional classification of a Championship, the rule for deciding between drivers who have scored exactly the same points total shall be:
8.3.1 According to the greater number of first places, then second places, then third places, etc., achieved in the final classifications on their respective Championship, counting only those rallies which have served to make up their points total.
8.3.2 According to the greater number of highest places achieved in the final classifications of their respective Championship, taking into consideration only those rallies in which all of the drivers concerned have taken part, one 11th place being worth more than any number of 12th places, one 12th place being worth more than any number of 13th places, and so on.
8.3.3 In the event of a further tie, the VRF itself will decide the winner and decide between any other tying drivers, on the basis of whatever other considerations it thinks appropriate.
9. PLATES AND ENTRY LIST
9.1 There will be different plates for each rally.
9.2 The numbers for the drivers will be announced after the enroll period is over by official entry list.
9.3 Any competitor who had taken place in a rally can send us photos from the race. The e-mail for the photos is [email protected]. The subject of the mail must be as follows:
NAME OF THE RALLY - DRIVER Name - Photos
9.4 Only the photos of the drivers who have the right numbers and plates on their car will be included in the gallery of the rally.
